I am a child and adolescent psychologist with an integrative approach to counseling. I am a so-called ‘third culture kid’, as I am from Finland but have lived abroad in international communities all my life.

I speak English, French, Finnish and Swedish and am able to provide therapy in all four languages. Today, I am one of the few (if not the only) Finnish and Swedish speaking child and adolescent therapists in the Paris region.

I work with children and adolescents from 3 to 18 years of age.

I see a wide range of clients with emotional, social or academic difficulties, as well as individuals who just wish to have an external confidant to help them talk through experiences.

I believe in a tailored approach and use integrative psychology to create a therapeutic plan specific to each individual and their situation. I work a lot through child-focused play therapy, art therapy, emotionally focused therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy, whilst integrating mindfulness practices.

I recommend beginning with an initial period of 8-10 weekly sessions in order to build a strong therapeutic relationship, necessary for valid progress. After these sessions we can re-evaluate the individual needs and adjust the frequency of sessions accordingly.
